In the role of Senior Talent Program Manager in Waukesha, you will be a part of the Talent Management team. In this role you will serve as the primary lead for all initiatives associated with talent development and acts as a strategic business partner to drive initiatives that support the organizational talent goals and objectives. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of high-impact talent development and talent management programs, tools, systems and processes that develop, build and retain a strong pipeline of ready, capable talent to support and drive business objectives. This role will have direct responsibility for managing various programs related to: supervisor skill development, development programs for high-performing talent pool members, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, career development and on-boarding. This role will partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other HR functions to identify opportunities across the employee life cycle to create programs and tools that lead to an enhanced employee experience through the use of surveys, action planning, root cause analysis, and other methods to evaluate organizational impact.
Direct oversight and management responsibility for one or more talent management programs. This role will focus on talent development programs and will have specific assigned work streams as allocated across the Talent Management department.
Research, identify and incorporate external leading best practices, innovations and trends into design of talent management and organizational effectiveness solutions where appropriate. Recommend strategies to address gaps, using organization development tools to support employee engagement goals.
Drive execution of internal talent development programs from project planning to roll-out to adoption and review
Align with VP of Training & Communication to assess internal Leadership Principles based training and development programs to ensure alignment with talent development objectives.
Partner with the HR Business Partner team to execute talent development programs; gather data and feedback to form the process and to make enhancements as needed.
Work with members of the Talent Management team and Employee Communications team to identify and draft communications on various topics (training programs, management skills / best practices; coaching programs, etc.) People & Culture
Work closely with the Director of Global Talent Management & Organizational Development to ensure all programs are inclusive and aligned with the Generac D&I and Our People strategies.
Develop annual plan for inclusion-based programs such as Quarterly Connections (Networking) events.
Partner with Employee Communications, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement leads to ensure alignment and leveraging of best practices.
Oversee the governance for, formation of, and ongoing maintenance of Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs). Provide guidance to BERG leaders and report on activities, engagement to leadership on a quarterly basis (at minimum).
Research, identify and incorporate external leading best practices, innovations and trends into Diversity & Inclusion programs where appropriate. Recommend solutions to address gaps, using organization development tools to support employee engagement goals. Talent Reviews and Performance Management
Work with EVP of HR and Director Global Talent Management & Organizational Development to plan talent review sessions for department leaders.
Support HR Business Partners and leaders for department talent reviews and act as a trusted advisor to provide expertise on how to identify and invest in critical talent, as well as influence key talent decisions to ensure that the right people are in critical roles.
Develop and deliver robust content for manager and above talent discussions, including Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Provide ongoing reporting on metrics related to the organizational talent diversity objectives and measure progress toward these targets
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for coaching and mentoring processes. Develop and distribute resources and tools to managers and above to support ongoing coaching and mentoring.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or related field or equivalent
7 years of business experience in Talent Management, Human Resources, or Learning & Development in a corporate environment
5 years demonstrated program management skills related to HR / Talent cycle
Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in relevant field such as Business, Education, Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Development
Certified in a Training Program or Assessment Tool
Relevant professional certifications, such as PHR, SPHR, ATD or other training association certifications
