The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support the Director of HR and to support our HR department. This position allows for professional and personal growth through training, support, and mentorship as well as opportunities for advancement within the company. We have an immediate opening to start in our exciting cabinet and stone company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing and implementing human resources plans, policies, procedures, and goals. Recommends improvements as appropriate
  • Guides employees, Supervisors and Management through investigative processes of employee relations and makes recommendations when necessary
  • Counsels and participates in employee relations issues/meetings
  • Follow-up with potential candidates regarding document submission and field/direct any HR-related questions.
  • Provide administrative support for the team in relation to documenting internal processes
  • Establish relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, internal resources to ensure that benefit plans are compliant, competitive and cost-effective
  • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • A passion for customer-first mindset and complex problem-solving
  • Strong vendor management experience and/or project management experience
  • Ability to multitask, sensitive information, prioritize and operate with limited guidance exercising judgment and discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Interpersonal experience with communicating across all levels of the organization internally, as well as externally
  • Ability to build, and maintain relationships with leadership, managers, and candidates.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to research employee questions and issues in regards to company policies, and plans
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, and organized processes.
  • Essential technical MS skills: Excel, Word
  • Bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred
