This HR Compliance Specialist is the lead investigator for the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action regarding high volume staff investigations on issues such as harassment, discrimination, hostile work environment and claims of retaliation. HR Compliance Specialist will also assist with the review of requests for ADA reasonable accommodations and be a subject matter expert to assist with the development of Affirmative Action Planning on an ongoing basis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management or related field required
Juris Doctor preferred not required
A minimum of one to two years of experience with compliance required.
A minimum of one to two of experience conducting investigations.
Experience and familiarity with reviewing claims of illegal and unlawful conduct, analysis of evidence, drafting investigation reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Communication and other skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute a high volume and broad scope of tasks within tight deadlines.
Proficient skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
Ability to collaborate with others.
Must be able to exhibit professional behavior at all times.
Must be able to judge where discretion should be used and have critical thinking skills.
Works in a professional office environment.
