The Senior Director, Total Rewards is responsible for leading the design, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of CDK’s global rewards programs including base salary, incentive compensation, benefits, and global mobility. Partners with senior leadership to ensure that rewards program design, communication and administration supports CDK’s short-term and long-term business objectives. Manages, coach and develops a team of rewards professionals to meet the business strategy needs.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
Evaluates the effectiveness of rewards programs through benchmarking, quantitative, and qualitative methods
Understand CDK’s workforce segments and develop reward strategies that attract and retain talent into those segments
Works with senior leadership to develop compensation and benefit strategies to support the short-term and long-term needs of the business.
Design and implement broad-based, equity and executive compensation programs
Accountable for materials provided to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
Design and deliver a methodology for annual compensation decision processes that appropriately reinforce a performance-driven culture
Partner with business partners, talent management, talent acquisition and other HR areas to ensure that rewards programs are aligned across HR
Direct, mentor and coach the rewards staff
Qualifications & Requirements
10+ years of compensation/benefit leadership experience, at least 6 of which are in a people leadership perspective
Ability to present clearly and concisely
Knowledge and of compensation administration and design
Executive compensation experience
Experience administering focal review or year-end process
Global benefits exposure is a plus
Analytical skills and detail orientation
Experience designing and executing large scale program changes
