Physician Recruitment Manager

Be in the heart of supporting our physician leaders in their patient care mission by joining DMG as a Physician Recruitment Manager.
The Physician Recruitment Manager is responsible for driving physician recruitment efforts for their respective area which may include primary care and various medical specialties. The incumbent will work with physician leaders to understand DMG business objectives and build recruitment strategies for designated sectors to align with goals. This a full cycle recruitment role responsible for building a continuous pipeline of candidates by networking and sourcing, interviewing candidates, presenting candidates to physician leadership, following up on the selection and contracting process, and acting as a liaison through onboarding.
Cultivate a relationship with medical and operations leadership to gain an understanding of DMG business objective for provider growth.
Independently source, screen, interview and present physician candidates for review by the designated medical segment leaders.
Develop, plan, implement and manage all methods to generate candidates, including national/local/internet advertising, direct mail, residency programs, local and national physician conferences and educational events
Research databases, social networks, job posting results, referrals and other sources to establish lists of potential candidates. Directly calls candidates to inform them of opportunities and to generate interest in openings.
Build candidate database for and pipeline for future recruitment needs.
Develop and maintains relationships and contracts/progress notes with provider recruiting firms.
Facilitate the site visit for the physician candidate and spouse/significant other. Includes arrangements for travel, lodging, meals and welcome gift, developing itineraries for physician and spouse providing transportation as needed. Email itinerary to all necessary contacts.
Coordinate onboarding with all relevant departments to ensure seamless transaction for new physician hires (e.g. credentialing, provider enrollment).
Assist with the documentation needed for the completion of the pre-employment process, as needed.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Business acumen needed to understand medical segment growth goals and translate into recruitment goals.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal clients across the organization.
Strong marketing and presentation skills, ability to effectively present information in a formal setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required knowledge of Microsoft office and ATS tools.
Bachelor's degree required
Master's degree preferred
At least 5-7 years of full cycle recruiting experience
A minimum of 4 years direct experience as a Physician Recruiter is required
Experience recruiting physicians across a broad spectrum of medical specialties
Experience working independently in automated talent systems; PracticeMatch preferred.
