HR Records Management Specialist

Parker Tide is a veteran-owned, small business operating in downtown Washington, DC. We serve as a value-partner to the Federal Government and the private sector. We currently have a HR Records Management position available to work onsite with one of our Federal clients located in Washington, DC. This individual will ensure key personnel information is accurately handled, correctly sanitized, archived, and digitized according to governing policies and regulations from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The contractor will support records management services are required to Individual will be responsible for supporting the Records Management task area for a US Intelligence Agency client.

Active TS/SCI Clearance Required

Period pf Performance is for one year with possible option years

Place of Performance: Onsite in Washington, DC

Duties

  • Manage Official Personnel Folders (OPFs) to ensure personnel information is properly handled
  • Standardize, review, screen, verify and cross reference actions on file documents to ensure they are complete and properly prepared for transfer to National Archive and Records Administration
  • Manage OPF candidates in accordance with Office of Human Resources (OHR) Standard Operating Procedures
  • Supporting digitization and archiving of records

Qualifications

  • Experience with civilian HR functions and government personnel action processing such as Personnel Action Request
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other transactional enterprise systems
  • Experience with OPM's "Official Guide to Personnel Record keeping" policies and guidance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient writing and communications skill
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
