  • The HR Director establishes and implements HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the vision and strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and direction to senior leaders and management serving as a resource on all aspects of human resources management.
  • Works with senior leadership to support a management succession plan that corresponds to the strategy and objectives.
  • Consistently reviews and supports a comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to attract and retain top talent across all positions.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive compensation and benefit plans that are competitive and cost effective for the business.
  • Provides overall leadership and guidance to HR function and oversees a high performing team that executes responsibility for talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, workplace safety, compensation, and benefits.
  • Embraces a team solution approach by including executives in the process of tailoring policies and improving processes to achieve a higher rate of adaptability, buy-in and success.
  • Participates in the development of an annual operating and capital budget; monitors expenses and takes corrective action to reverse negative outcomes; and maintains responsibility for the administration of the facility’s wage and salary functions to provide the most effective and cost-efficient programs for recruitment and retention.
  • Maintains a Human Resources department that provides fair treatment and support systems to all employees, and acts as a resource to assist employees in achieving their employment and career objectives.
  • Investigates and evaluates employee relations and work-related problems and meets with supervisors, managers, and executives to determine effective remediation techniques, such as job skill training or other corrective action, to resolve employee relations issues among personnel.
  • Confers with senior leaders to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies, and to coordinate specific functions.
  • Develops and implements performance coaching, progressive discipline, and dispute resolution procedures.
  • Administers and tracks all leave of absence requests related to FMLA, ADA or Short Term Disability to ensure fair and equitable practices.
  • Oversees worker’s compensation claims and investigations.
  • Leads conflict resolution and maintains a constructive working relationship with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensures company is compliant with all federal, state and local human resources laws.
  • Stays current on changes and updates in employment law.
  • Develops updates and distributes employee handbook and HR procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.



· Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university preferred with a business/HR focus.

· Minimum of 5+ years demonstrated and progressive experience in a corporate HR environment.

· Professional HR certification is preferred.

· Healthcare industry experience a plus.


· This position requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, good judgement, and intermediate computer literacy.

· Requires skill in communicating successfully with top-level management and the public.

· Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate community activities, agencies, and services.

· Capability to ensure accurate preparation of professional, technical and administrative reports.

· Ability to speak before groups.

· This position requires strong computer literacy, including intermediate skills with MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
· While performing job duties, the incumbent is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The incumbentfrequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb or balance. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
