Norfolk Iron & Metal is one of the largest family-owned steel service centers in the Midwest. We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for our Norfolk, Nebraska branch. The HR Manager is responsible for the employment process including talent attraction, development, and retention for this 500,000 square foot facility with 300 employees.
The HR Manager is a key member of the Branch Leadership Team and will act as a liaison between the branch and the corporate headquarters. This role will effectively administer the corporate driven functions of employee benefits, compensation and payroll in addition to effectively communicating and supporting company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The HR Manager must have strong communication skills, demonstrated positive problem-solving abilities and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s MRP/HRIS system (AS400/UltiPro).
