The Position:
The HR Manager, Shared Services is responsible for leading the HR Shared Services team in support of the overall U.S. business strategy and corresponding strategic HR plans and programs in the areas of Benefits, Ultipro Payroll and HR Information Systems, Compensation and Compliance.

This role, in collaboration with the rest of the HR team, supports leaders and staff in clinical and management practices nationally as well as administrative functions in our Basking Ridge, NJ Headquarters. The HR Manager, Shared Services assists cultivates and maintains partnerships across the organization and within the HR team to work proactively on solutions that support RMA business objectives, values and culture. Experience in coaching, problem solving, diagnostic and influencing skills to improve business outcomes in a growing and changing environment across multiple functional groups and stakeholders is required. The role also requires HR business partner support, as needed.

The HR Manager, Shared Services must possess skills to span the company's strategic vision, analytical expertise and operational management. This role will build and drive foundational policies, processes, procedures, systems and practices with the HR function and across the organization in consultation with the HR Director-USA and other members of the HR team. This role requires impeccable project management skills, a high level of analytical and technical HR expertise, and experience in managing and overseeing benefits and HR technologies (Ultipro) internally and in partnership with external partners & service providers. Supporting organic business growth and integrating new entities through efficient and compliant operations are also within the scope of this role.

The role reports to the HR Director-USA, and leads a team encompassing the Payroll Manager and the HR Generalist, Shared Services. The HR Manager, Shared Services interacts across the U.S. and global HR and Accounting teams serving USA operations, HR analytics & data governance.

Responsibilities:
Develops scalable HR processes in line with the company's growth strategy
Oversight for designing, implementing and managing accurate and timely payroll reporting
Strategic analysis of workforce data consultative insights to drive informed HR and organizational decisions,

Including but not limited to:
HR Operations (Ultipro HRIS technology, reporting, administration and Payroll)
Total Rewards (Benefits & Compensation)
HR Compliance
Responsible for benefit programs from plan design to administration (vendor relationships, annual open enrollment, etc.) in collaboration with the HR Director and other HR team members
Administer health and welfare benefits programs, 401(k) plan, including management of any benefits-related audits
Oversee payroll entries, time reporting and audits optimizing technology and associated processes directly
Payroll Manager and HRG, Shared Services in collaboration with the Accounting team
Partner with Accounting to reconcile payroll and benefit expenses on a monthly & annual basis
Oversee the annual performance review and compensation planning process nationally, including the planning and implementation of annual salary reviews, bonus planning and administration including annual budget forecasting
Related reporting and work with other HR team members to communicate policies to ensure smooth progress; collect feedback, analyze data and enhance policies and processes
Oversee the HRIS for RMA, including evaluating, enhancing, maintaining and administering system modules
Develop and implement, in conjunction with the members of the Employee's LifeCycle HR team and Accounting, processes to ensure company structure is accurately reflected in the system for proper pay, benefits, entity and cost allocations
Collaborate with internal communication and other HR team members develop and maintain employee portal component of HRIS
Simplify and automate services and processes, across the employee lifecycle, to maximize productivity and efficiency
Contribute to the design and implementation of cost effective and legally compliant programs, policies, practices and processes that support the company’s strategic vision and business objectives
Manage vendors, brokers, consultants, plan administrators, etc. to ensure the company is receiving quality expertise, guidance, data, recommendations and services at an appropriate cost
Work closely with internal audit and outside auditors regarding completion of audit and compliance matters
Create and maintain employee policies and maintain relationships with outside counsel to stay ahead of changes to legal compliance laws reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Partners with stakeholders to effectively plan for workforce needs and provide underlying analytics to predict workforce trends
Design and development of accurate dashboards, reports, presentations used to educate, inform, and influence business decisions, thought leadership and support strategic objectives of the organization
Leverage external data sources to bring new and creative insights to the workforce planning processes and understand patterns and connections within HR disciplines to influence business outcomes
Build a foundation of analytical capabilities throughout the HR organization and trains others in advanced analytic methods, as needed
Research compensation benchmarks and conduct pay analysis as needed
Review insights collected from various surveys (onboarding, exits, engagement) and report on themes or trends on an ongoing basis
Conduct internal department audits & ad-hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Operations experience encompassing disciplines outlined above
Supervisory or Team Lead experience
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business; Masters preferred;
HR certifications a plus (SHRM, HRCI)

Demonstrated expertise in:
o HRIS design, planning and implementation (Ultipro preferred!)
o design and implementation of benefits programs (health, welfare, retirement, wellness) with strong knowledge of related regulations
o payroll and time reporting systems and related state and federal requirements and taxes
o knowledge and experience in all Compensation aspects (base pay, role architecture, bonus plans and equity plans) and in all US Benefits plans.
o compensation and job structure planning and design (base pay, role architecture, bonus plans, etc.) & all US benefit plans
Performance management planning, design and implementation
Strong working knowledge of Federal and State employment/benefit/payroll laws; FLSA, ERISA, HIPPA, FMLA, ADA,
Workers’ Compensation, and COBRA
Understanding of labor & employment laws, compensation & benefits, policies & procedures
Strong interest in HR tech, benefits, compensation, analytics and optimizing processes
Proactive, organized, and detail oriented; able to ensure rigor and accuracy while meeting deadlines
Aptitude to problem-solve, learn quickly, multi-task, take initiative and be flexible and able to work tight deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in data visualization; able to translate research findings for a general business audience
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications and data query tools and strong desire to learn new technology
Strong project management skills
Ability to travel to RMA facility locations
